It is widely used in handling big data tables and creating automation using big data which allowed us to save $100k+ yearly and we use it to simulate supply chain finance accruals for P&L using multiple big data sets. We also use it to create data files to load in AWS Redshift & Snowflake.

In my organization, we use Alteryx to solve many different business challenges. I’ve used to build reports for SOX testing, to support internal audit projects with analytics (for faster and more accurate testing), I’ve used it to retrieve data from SAP easily, and many more. Alteryx is really a very versatile tool and has a user friendly interface, which makes our work a lot easier. What I also like about Alteryx is how you can user the server the store your workflows, schedule time for it to run automatically, all those details are really important for me because they make my daily work routine much more efficient.

• Alteryx helped save Internal Auditors time by doing analysis they would do manually and take hours. Saving time is saving money. I used Alteryx to find matching records between two datasets so the Auditors would only analyze the records that didn’t match - if they were to do it manually, it would take hours - for me using Alteryx, it took 10 minutes.
• Alteryx was also great to bring closer the data workers at the company - using the same tool we were able to have a better connection, better insights and it saved a lot of our time by avoiding us to have to work it multiple tools and depend on other people who had access to these tools to help us.
• I also build a report using Alteryx that avoided having the company pay for a third party tool that would cost over $100,000/year. Using Alteryx I treated the data and connected it to Power BI.
