Overall Satisfaction with Altium 365

I am using Altium as a PCB design framework. Altium provides a very complex work environment, unlocking many PCB design options.

Pros

  • Hierarchy
  • Version control.
  • Manufacture Part Search.
  • Spice

Cons

  • Improving DRC locations.
  • Easier Component library creation.
  • Improve the SPICE time.
  • It provides great customer support.
  • Great documentation generation.
  • Additional information that might be helpful for Manufacturer.
Like anything else, Altium has room for improvement, but from personal experience, it is the best PCB framework on the market. The usability of Altium is a bit complicated due to many parameters, I would say "hidden in the program," which require some trial and error or purchasing the Altium training course.
Great support, constant improvements, more functionality, appealing EDA, Version control, and hierarchy.

It provides great responsive support, which is great for when multiple people are working on the project. If something crashes, you can always go back to the working revision. It is widely favorable in the medical device industry.
