Anaconda is being used in the entire organization of my company. It ensures that data science teams across the whole organization manage our python environment and make sure the repeatability of the packages that we built internally as well as the notebooks and projects created by different teams.

Compare Anaconda to Unix coding system. You can use PIP to install and create requirement.txt to replace environment.yml to avoid using Anaconda. However, Anaconda is such an excellent tool to maintain your environment and check the version of your package and update the package whenever needed, which is not available elsewhere.
