Overall Satisfaction with ApptioOne
We use it for planning, forecasting, and budgeting. The goal is to stop every manager from using their own spreadsheet and to start using one common location to track everything.
Pros
- Forecasting
- Showing 2 years at a time
- Using the new and exciting .csv format
Cons
- TBM studio and ITP have a definite wall between them that is hard to break through.
- We can't do reporting directly from ITP, it has to be manually published to BM studio first.
- The process of closing one month and opening a new month takes a lot of steps and requires a lot of checks to get right.
Data ingestion is actually the hardest between ITP and TBM studio. We use datalink for everything else, and it works great.
- Easier to see who has done their forecasting.
- Cloudability
They have not been used together. They are still used as very separate products.
