Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are a hardware company that uses Arena PLM and QMS for releases, BOM (bill of materials), PVT (production validation testing), etc. the whole thing. Arena PLM and QMS helps us to release that in a very professional manner and according to industry standards. Its complicated and feature-dense, but I guess that works both ways.

Scope of our use case is releasing items, change orders, BOMs, and manufacturer parts. I cannot cover everything and even if I try I will miss it

There is lack of visibility between connected Change orders, items and supplier items

Multiple things could have been easily defined. For ex. All the different columns

Example We are into selling hardware. A hardware is composed of multiple hardware assemblies. All of those assemblies need to be released and reviewed per industry standards. This specific scenario is when Arena PLM and QMS is used the best.

You can also release Software/Firmware parts and it would still make sense
