We do our construction sets on AutoCAD. We draw our plans, sections, elevations, and detailing all from the same file.

Much faster to use and creates a 3D model of everything.

It takes a longer time than other programs because you have to draw line by line. Whereas other programs allow you to draw plans and the program itself generates a model that allows you to get elevations and sections. Works well with other people opening the same file.
