Overall Satisfaction with Barracuda Sentinel
We utilize the Barracuda Sentinel product to block malicious emails including spear-phishing and account takeovers or spoofing. I get a large number of emails that are quarantined that the system is catching where the sender is not a valid account.
Pros
- Capturing targeted phishing attacks
- Capturing spoofed addresses - emails purporting to be from the CEO but using a Gmail account.
Cons
- This application is doing exactly what I need. It is intuitive and provides details when needed.
- The capture of malicious email
- Alerting us of potential email account take over
- Capturing spoofed email specifically those purporting to need a financial transaction
- Reducing the risk of a user inadvertently responding to a malicious email
We have been a long-standing customer of Barracuda Backups Cloud to Cloud and Main Backups so this was a logical extension of what we had already been doing and the positive results we had been receiving on the other products
