Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud CRM

We used it to collect donations and donor information for our non-profit. It allowed us to store, categorize, and sort data across the organization in one platform.
  • Growing donor/supporter base.
  • Collecting donations.
  • Having a landing page for donations.
  • The internal CMS is extremely difficult to use.
  • It's hard to get someone on the phone.
  • Grew our donor base.
  • Kept donations steady.
  • Grew our email list.
I was given Blackbaud when I started, and we ultimately switched to Classy because of their support, functionality, and flexibility in making new campaigns and pages.
We were not ever able to get anyone on the phone and once we got through to email support, they were not able to answer many of the questions we had. They also were not eager to let us leave our contract (as any CRM wouldn't be), and made it extremely difficult to pass on data to our new system.

However, the reporting section left much to be desired. They are also hard to get ahold of when you need to speak to someone about your account, and they weren't very flexible in offering solutions to our problems.
