This is being used by one team within the organization to conduct video calls with members of our community.

Pros and Cons

Clear picture
Easy to share screen
Easy to communicate with multiple parties
Recording feature is useful

Easier to share recorded videos
Occasional issues with sound/skipping
Unique passcodes so back to back calls don't overlap

Return on Investment

Has led to more face to face meetings
Is easier to connect with remote participants and teammates

Alternatives Considered

Skype

BlueJeans feels like it has a more reliable connection than Skype, and it is easier for multiple participants to join.

Usability

Intuitive and easy. We have rarely had to send detailed instructions to meeting attendees who have not used the software previously.

Easy for having face to face conversations and great if those conversations need to be recorded. Not ideal, as most video conference systems are not, for people with rough connectivity. We did have one call where the other person was demonstrating technology via screen share, and Blue Jeans had a tough time handling it/it skipped a lot.
