Overall Satisfaction with BlueJeans
It was being used by various teams in our information technology department. Some of us were using this application because we had a certain amount of people on the team who could not use other applications once we were all remote from the office. We were using the BlueJeans application to host our remote conference calls for teams not only locally in the city but across several states so that we could communicate about projects we were working on.
- The links to connect to a video conference call with were easy to use
- For the most part, people that were using a desktop or their cell phone could log into a call with minimal instruction
- I do not believe out of the two years that we have been using BlueJeans that we have ever had a dropped conference call
- Sometimes the lighting quality was off but I do also believe that that was due to our desktop camera at the time
- Depending on the microphone app that you use, there might be some bad feedback during the conference call
- The integration between a BlueJeans conference call and your car can sometimes be an issue. The mute function did not always work as designed
- It definitely led to more face-to-face conversations especially since we had merged two teams and had a lot more people needing to join the call.
- I liked the fact that I could use this application for two different organizations and it was able to supply what we needed in both instances.
- For one team we needed certain features like the calling number and the video chat, and for the other team, I needed to be able to record our meeting so that we could write out the meeting minutes afterward.
We selected BlueJeans out of the necessity to be able to host more than 20 people on a call.
