Overall Satisfaction with BlueJeans
BlueJeans is being used to provide online classes to rural schools in our state. This is being used across the whole organization. This has provided extra classes for students who otherwise wouldn't have access to them. BlueJeans has been great for our organization!
- The support is helpful with any questions.
- I enjoy the additional features to enhance my lessons (whiteboard, annotation, etc.).
- When I type to annotate the screen shared, I am unable to make the text box larger. This breaks up my words and sentences, which makes it difficult for students to understand the text.
- Sometimes when I share my screen, the BlueJeans app shuts down, forcing me to restart the call.
- Five different school districts are receiving education in the Spanish language.
- I am able to get to know and teach many different students from varying backgrounds.
I used to use Skype often several years ago, so I am not sure how their product currently compares with BlueJeans. As far as I knew several years ago, Skype was only able to be used with one-to-one calls. BlueJeans is helpful in that you can meet with several different people at the same time. There are also many different features available to utilize in meetings, such as whiteboard and annotations. Lastly, the recording feature has been especially helpful to me. Sometimes students are absent from school, so all I need to do is record the class so they can receive all the necessary information. Thank you!
