Overall Satisfaction with Bluescape

Bluescape is being used as our co-create platform within the office. It is a sounding board for all ideas and works really well for throwing a lot of iterations up in front of people informally. It is also somewhat of an archive or tackboard that we can reference if we suddenly remember some idea we were discussing in the past.
  • Allows for a high volume of images and sketches to be put into the canvas
  • Lets you drop in text, freehand sketching, and shapes quick and easy
  • Can connect images and texts together using connectors, which can be customized
  • Sometimes the order of things stacked on top of each other makes it difficult to click on things
  • The iOS app doesn't work well anymore for me on my iPhone
  • The @someone feature is nice because it sends an email and takes you right to the commented area
  • I am not the one spending money but I think it's worth it. We need some sort of platform like this, especially when people are working remotely.
I've only used the Google one and the Microsoft one, and those have pretty limited features in comparison. The canvas size being huge is a great asset to me because nothing sucks more than when you literally can't fit your ideas on the canvas. Also the speed it updates and how easy it is to share around with people seems to be easier.

Do you think Bluescape delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Bluescape's feature set?

Yes

Did Bluescape live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Bluescape go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Bluescape again?

Yes

Bluescape is well suited throughout the early stages of the architectural design process. We even integrate our consultants into it to see design intent and how it is evolving. Our firm has graphic designers, interior designers, architects, and structural engineers so it is important that everyone can see how the design is unfolding and be apart of its evolution.
