Overall Satisfaction with Bonita BPM

Bonita BPM is currently used in the department that manages system integration and identity management projects. It's also going to be used for managing internal processes in our organization. Typically it addresses digital identity lifecycle management requisites (enrollment of users, enrollment of services, and workflows for managing internal authorizations).

  • Business Data Model
  • API extensions for complete separation between the process and the user interface

Cons

  • SAML authentication
  • Features that in the new version are no longer supported.
  • Very fast and flexible modeling
No, as a general tool there are a lot of scenarios for which Bonita is well suited. It is less appropriate in processes where there are very few actors.

    Ciao Francesca, Thank you for taking the time to post a review. We really appreciate all the feedback you have provided. First of all, I would like to thank you for emphasizing the fact that our REST API extension available in Bonita BPM allows a complete split between processes and user interface, because this is one of our core objectives, and I see that it meets your expectations. When you mention features that are no longer supported, you may be referring to the Autologin feature, available in Bonita BPM v5 but no longer included in the product. We understand the benefit of being able to perform an action on our platform without any defined authentication, but we decided to removed this feature for security reasons. We are aware that this is a common need for our customers, so we are analyzing this topic internally with the Engineering team. We will keep you updated on any progress on this.
