Overall Satisfaction with Bonterra Case Management
We use Bonterra Case Management on a daily basis. It serves almost like the headquarters for our client records and information. It addresses multiple business problems. One of the most important, in my opinion, is continuity of client interactions on all levels. Like many if not all our company encompasses various roles, all which support our client. With Bonterra each employee is able to input, access, and review the information from their interaction with the client. It also allows for edits when client information needs to updated or corrected. By allowing all roles access it makes its easier to ensure client records are accurate.
Pros
- Updates and or edits to clinical records, demographics, times, notes, etc.
- Continuity of client records. All access to clients records allowing for each role to be able to review all services or what services have been provided to the client.
- Safety; Bonterra platform when left unattended will automatically prompt a count down to close out if not being utilized. This is extremely helpful in emergency situations. At times we have a in-person crisis that needs immediate attention and can pull us away from an Bonterra case notes. Because of this feature the platform will lock and need a password for re-entry.
Cons
- Adding a feature to merge duplicate records.
- Being able to search the call logs by client names.
- Switching the placement of where to input the clients contact the information. Right now it is under the emergency contacts.

Yes we have. With Bonterra we are able to access and request needed services from various departments. For example, if a client is seeking mental health support due to a crisis and discloses that one of the factors that attributed to becoming overwhelmed was lack of housing. In the moment I can access our Community health worker form, complete it. Our community outreach department then is able to access that information, access additional clinical information and provide the guest with a support. This will give the community health work knowledge of the recent crisis and better their interaction.
It has allowed us to secure additional funding by allowing us to keep organized clinical records and review the usage of services. We are able to show the increase in new clients. We then can report in our grant applications factual reasoning on requesting funds. Additionally, it allows us to get statistical information on various demographical categories. With this data we can know it we meet certain requirements for specific grants targeted for specific populations.
Bonterra is more descriptive and more personalized to our companies needs.
