Pros
- Enhances our ability to support clients effectively, ensuring they receive the comprehensive care they need during challenging times.
- Allows me to spend more time actively listening to clients vs. trying to document the interaction simultaneously.
- Bonterra Case Management allows me to keep track of client progress and allows my boss to generate reports for stakeholders.
Cons
- It automatically forces me to create a duplicate VOCA form for every program enrollment.
- There should be more options to choose from under Case Management Services Provided.
- Under SEARCH, the Individuals tab and the Shelter Program tab take you to two very different folders. I do not understand why the contents of these folders cannot be together as one.
- Bonterra Case Management allows each of the employees at my organization to find and document information for or about clients quickly and efficiently.
- Bonterra Case Management allows my supervisor to view all of my progress notes in one place from wherever she is located, vs. having to meet in person to get a better understanding of the status/circumstances of each individual client.
- Bonterra Case Management has allowed our organization to go completely PAPER FREE!
Family Time has definitely achieved the benefit of scaling program delivery! This is so important, especially for non-profit organizations like ours who depend on grants and government funding to operate. With this new system we are able to pull reports for all aspects of case management service delivery, to show how many clients are receiving our services, what services are utilized the most, and also allows us to separate reports between case management, counseling, and shelter services.
When we were operating mostly with paper files, it was a struggle to provide funders with exact data both for services provided, as well as projections for future clients/services. With Bonterra Case Management we are able to pull reports to analyze trends, measure outcomes, provide insights to improve our services, and accurately project the needs of, and the number of clients we will serve in the future.
