Good Software, Would Recommend.
Overall Satisfaction with Bonterra Case Management
I use Bonterra case management to keep track of my clients, write progress notes, compile intake and/or referral forms, and track sessions for billing purposes. I’m required to use the program for the organization I work with, so I’m not totally sure what the full scope of use is for the company as a whole.
Pros
- Document Folder.
- Searching Records.
- Linking clients & families to each other/therapists/ projects/etc.
Cons
- It’s slow and doesn’t refresh.
- Some documents are difficult to access once they’re added to a folder.
- Billing codes.
- I do not know the company’s ROI.
I don’t know. They keep track of scheduled versus actual sessions to see if services are being provided. It also helps to determine whether treatment has progressed.
Apricot is much easier to navigate than Carelogic, but I didn’t choose to use Bonterra; I don’t have that much power.
