Overall Satisfaction with Bonterra Case Management

I use Bonterra case management to keep track of my clients, write progress notes, compile intake and/or referral forms, and track sessions for billing purposes. I’m required to use the program for the organization I work with, so I’m not totally sure what the full scope of use is for the company as a whole.

Pros

  • Document Folder.
  • Searching Records.
  • Linking clients & families to each other/therapists/ projects/etc.

Cons

  • It’s slow and doesn’t refresh.
  • Some documents are difficult to access once they’re added to a folder.
  • Billing codes.
  • I do not know the company’s ROI.
I don’t know. They keep track of scheduled versus actual sessions to see if services are being provided. It also helps to determine whether treatment has progressed.
Apricot is much easier to navigate than Carelogic, but I didn’t choose to use Bonterra; I don’t have that much power.

Do you think Bonterra Apricot delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Bonterra Apricot's feature set?

Yes

Did Bonterra Apricot live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Bonterra Apricot go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Bonterra Apricot again?

Yes

I must use this software, so it doesn’t matter what it’s well suited for. It does the job when it comes to progress notes and case management. I do have some issues when it comes to accessing certain documents, seeing the list of my clients, saving records, etc. Overall, though, I’d recommend the software, especially with some minor tweaks.
