As a Fundraising and Communication tool.

Pros and Cons

Pros

One succinct system that provides a communication tool and a fundraising tool in one
Easy layout and simple to use
Unlimited users so you're whole team can access the system

Cons

Slow to respond to support requests
Certain features that are found in other CRMs, like pledge forms, would be nice, but are not available.
Limitations on uploads/batch uploads

Return on Investment

It is too soon for us to provide numbers, but this is working well
I think it is pretty expensive. I am not sure the ROI is high enough for how much it costs. Especially for small non profits
Allowing optional donations on events sign up forms has provided us with many new donors.

I wish we had more insight from the integration support team about what is most important on EA. We had to do many uploads after our "integration" was finished to make sure all the info we needed was in EA. We also had to turn off a lot of the SF-EA integration because it made it a big mess on both sides, making extra contacts and opportunities for donations etc.

Reliability and Availability

I think they tell us when and for how long outages will last and I have not experienced many outages while working.

Performance

It has been a huge help to have fundraising integrated into communication and be able to communicate with donors and subscribers all in one!

It is well suited for using as a fundraising tool and a communication tool in one. With changes from Salsa to EveryAction, to Bonterra Development + Digital, employee knowledge and support request has dwindled.
