Overall Satisfaction with Bonterra Network for Good

We are a nonprofit agency that does approximately $4.65 million in revenue each year. We use Bonterra Network for Good as a Donor Management System, a Contact Database, and an in-kind donation and volunteer record keeping system. Bonterra Network for Good is a wonderful way to track donations, build donor stewardship, and thank donors. It's also a great event platform that allows people to purchase tickets, track event updates, and connect with your guest attendees.

  • We increased our donor contact base from 1,000 to 3,400 in one year.
Absolutely. Prior to Bonterra Network for Good, our agency was not using a Donor Management System and we were not tracking our donors very well. Many of them were not getting thanked properly and we didn't have record of when they donated, how much, etc. Bonterra Network for Good (NFG) allows us to easily track the donors, and more importantly, thank the donors (the fun thank you videos are a huge hit). We also use the monthly donations for our CEO reports so that we can show a nice graphic of the incoming donations and how it compares to other months and other years.
Bonterra Network for Good is very user friendly, it's one of my favorite things about it. Most of our staff do not even need "training", they can just log in and start "playing around" and quickly pick up the gist of the program. It's also a great way to find new things that Bonterra Network for Good (NFG) can do and learn new tricks.
Network for Good has similar properties but has a lot more to offer. The dashboard is much more user friendly and visually pleasing. We also like the reports that can be pulled, the video thank yous are a huge hit, and the newsletters have come a long way with their capabilities.

This is extremely helpful for donor management in the nonprofit sector. I always tell smaller nonprofits that while it's an added expense that can be hard to budget for, you will see the value in your tracking and ability to make sure your donors are being thanked, engaging with them, and getting your contacts more aware of your agency and what is happening.

We didn't try out any other platforms, as I had worked with Network for Good previously. My CDO would have liked to try a few other options but we are happy with NFG.

Bonterra Network for Good Implementation

We only had one hiccup with the domain that was an issue on our end but NFG struggled to help us. It was finally resolved and we've been good ever since.

I don't know to be honest...I'm not sure what that looks like in a membership. I don't beleive we had different options. We have a live chat help available all the time though.
Yes, several times they have helped me work though things I didn't understand.
Most of the time they are quick and friendly and help me resolve any issues. There have only been a couple of times that we couldn't find a resolution and I was just told that NFG didn't have that capability.

Yes - I don't use it that often but for my basic mobile needs, it's good.

Bonterra Network for Good Reliability

We originally used it only for philanthropy and now our Outreach team is using it for newsletters, our Advocacy uses it for volunteers and tracking, and our Volunteer Coordinator puts in volunteer hours and in-kind donations.
It's always available.
It's usually quick, just depends on the internet.
