Overall Satisfaction with Bonterra Network for Good

We currently use Bonterra Guided Fundraising's Network For Good gift management platform to track all of our giving, maintain current contact information, and guide our acknowledgements. Currently, the Development Office is the only office using the software, but we anticipate expanding to the Marketing and Sales team too.

Pros

  • Great Customer Service
  • Trustworthy Data
  • Easy Navigation
  • High Quality Product, particularly well set to serve small organizations
  • Easy to access for all staff members

Cons

  • I would like a voicemail feature for mass communication
  • While I use the acknowledgement tracking in the gift entries, I currently create all of my own acknowledgement letters outside the system because the in-system option seems complicated, or I just haven't received enough training yet
  • Trustworthy Data
  • Easy digital communication tools
Yes, it has! Before using Network for Good, our system was unreliable. It was very difficult to enter and then to retrieve data, especially for simple reporting by demographics, campaign, or timeline. Now, all of those features have been simplified and are accessible to the entire team to see in real time on the computer or through any device connected to the internet.
It is very easy to navigate in every way. I can easily look up constituents, construct search strings, and communicate straight out of the platform. As our organization has moved into an affiliation with another area non-profit, this system has allowed me to quickly and correctly provide data that is of benefit to everyone involved in this affiliation.
My final selection was probably between Bonterra Guided Fundraising and DonorPerfect becasue they had comparable usability and pricing. I really appreciated Mightycause for small operations who need an inexpensive tool, but their site required too many integrations to make it valuable for our use. As a healthcare facility, we curently use MatrixCare and I think it is terrible on the fundraising end. I can barely trust the data or retrieve information after it is entered. I would discourage anyone from using or relying on their donor suite. At my previous work we used Jenzabar. Apart from barely integrating with other tools, it was far too robust and far too expensive for my current context. In the end, it came down to the great customer service and the integrated tools that came along with the original contract.

Do you think Bonterra Network for Good delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Bonterra Network for Good's feature set?

Yes

Did Bonterra Network for Good live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Bonterra Network for Good go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Bonterra Network for Good again?

Yes

It is well suited to small organizations that have a small number of staff. If an organization is ready to move into prospect management in addition to simple tracking and communication, there may be a more robust system to turn to than the Bonterra Guided Fundraising Network For Good platform that I am currently using.
