Overall Satisfaction with Brightmine

We use Brightmine's benchmarking tool. It has great source of HE sector data which we can't find in other resources we have access too. So it's very handy.

Pros

  • Live data outputs.
  • Able to dig down to industries.
  • Able to dig down to locations.

Cons

  • Can include a list of participating companies in the benchmarking input used in your Excel downloads.
  • Website can be improved.
  • Can see which levels we pay less than our pay philosophy, and demonstrate that we need to increase our pay ranges where needed, without which we may lose talented staff.
HR & Compliance Center AND Compensation planning.
Significantly. It complements our data gaps.
Excellent interactions… the team is very helpful, they go above and beyond. I’ve been really impressed by how customer-centric the approach was. Very impressed!

Very versatile, unlike other big consultancy firms’ products. Especially being able to see live data. So, no problem of missing deadlines. I really like being able to search by job title, and you get to see what's in the data, similar, and the available levels too. I work in the Higher Education sector, and I really like the ability to benchmark against all sectors and HE only, with location drilled down to our needs.
