Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce

We use it across the entire organization. We are involved in pre and post implementation support of the platform. It addresses time management and talent acquisition. It also provides efficient and compliant software to process accurate payrolls with minimal error.
  • Workforce management - the time and attendance system is extremely easy to use.
  • Built-in Audits - these audits that are automatically generated easily provide details that you would have to seek out in registers on other platforms.
  • Workflow - the workflow seamlessly pushes through time card adjustments and time away from work that are easy to decipher and approve.
  • System glitches - the system tends to glitch and can sometimes take a while to implement a fix.
  • Loan balances - unable to go back and make changes to transactions in My Pay. Not sure in the functionality is changing in Payroll.
  • Reporting is small and hard to read. A lot of info in such a small space.
  • Since we are outsourced payroll, we have a lot of clients who are implementing this system and bringing more business.
  • Some clients have increased difficulty in managing the system.
The ability to set up specific pay policies allows us to encourage compliance with our clients and it is more easily monitored. The US wage and tax database report is nice in that it notifies us of when specific codes are not set up for taxes and also when someone is not being withheld properly. There are many ways to access imperative data.
I do not make decisions regarding this information. Since we are an outsourced firm, I specifically handle payroll only. I will say however when looking for compensation details, it is very easy to find. Also the sync pay changes feature is great.
I have used Workday Payroll, Ceridian HPL & HPW. This system makes it so much easier to access the data and integrate it together. No interfaces are needed and everything flows smoothly.
Ceridian Dayforce is well suited for customers who need a reliable time and attendance system. The system integrates WFM and Payroll very well and I have personally experienced minimal issues. I personally feel it is less appropriate with smaller payrolls that experience minimal or no changes. It could be overkill.
