Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce
Dayforce is used to keep track of time and attendance and evaluation entries. Benefits and open enrollment is also completed through the system. Payroll is another reason Dayforce is used. It is used amongst managers, employees, and admin. Problems that are addressed are timesheets that are not authorized or payments over the threshold amount are pointed out to us in advanced.
Pros
- Dayforce calculates the benefit amounts of newly enrolled employees. Amounts are particularly important so that employees are not charged inaccurately.
- Dayforce provides help support that connects with our business in time to meet payroll committing deadlines based on priority.
- I am pleased to see the many area of reports that are available and the detailed amount of information that can be customized to our needs.
Cons
- In the time sheets, clock in and break hours in the Calendar and Pay tab do not match up. It would be less of a hassle to adjust the hours were the same instead of one being correct.
- When benefits are adjusted in Benefits Management the benefit amounts do not automatically calculate to reflect the corrected benefit amount.
- Still using Silverlight.
- Dayforce has created the option for onboarding gives the option for fewer applications.
- Dayforce keeps records of benefits and beneficiaries in the system which gives the option to save paper.
- Feeds go directly to vendors which is positive.
Less room for error and confusions. Not having a third party seems more secure. By staying in one system and maintaining one log in it saves time and is neater. It supports organizational methods by having a filling system online rather than millions of papers just in file cabinets.
