Overall Satisfaction with ChannelAdvisor

We use it primarily to send our inventory to multiple platforms such as Amazon, eBay, Rakuten, Sears,, etc. It also manages inventory for one of our webstores. In addition to inventory management, we also utilize it for our SEO/PPC campaigns on Google. Therefore, we do use it across multiple departments.

It gives us one, easy to use platform to control our inventory. If we did not use ChannelAdvisor, we would have to log into the backends of these marketplaces and doing manual editing and monitoring. This of course would involve a great deal of manpower to accomplish. ChannelAdvisor helps us keep our staff smaller and our business more automated.

One of the big perks of ChannelAdvisor is it's ability to monitor and reprice for competition on Amazon. This has been key to our success on Amazon.

  • I can't speak for the exact numbers as I do not have my hands in them, but I would certainly say it has had a positive impact on ROI

  • It also gives us a platform to do process returns in one place, making customer service more effecient.
I have no experience with any other products so I honestly cannot say. What I do know is that most fortune 100 companies in ecommerce use ChannelAdvisor and that speaks greatly for their product. They also have been around longer than any other vendor so I trust ChannelAdvisor's expertise above others.
Without ChannelAdvisor, our business wouldn't be where it is today so the idea of NOT renewing is out of the question. By not renewing we would have to hire more employees and have more of a workload for existing employees. By keeping costs low and employees effecient we have been able to grow exponentially.
It is well suited for anyone trying to sell their products across multiple marketplaces and websites. It helps cut down on employees and automate tasks that could take a person hours.

It is not well suited if you are only selling on your own website as it is really intended to be used for marketplaces.
