Cisco 3504 WLAN Controller acts as the main WLAN controller for warehouses providing them with a WiFi network and allowing for 24/7 operation.

Pros

  • Well known interface
  • Reliable AP monitoring
  • Almost zero effort AP provisioning

Cons

  • Outdated GUI
  • Many features are hard to find
  • Monitoring features are lacking
  • Can support up to 150 Access Points
  • High Availibility
  • Software updates are easy to perform
  • Reduced time on management ( single controller for multiple sites)
  • Big community that helps with troubleshooting and configuration
