Replace EOL Cisco Catalyst 2960S and G switches.

- standardize on CLI
- same IOS-XE software upgrade and management
- monitor in a single pane of console
- management of these switches to replace Cisco PRIME
- The most positive impact is that the switch works and never failed.
- It's a solid product and it just works.
- You don't need to replace the switch early. I had it running beyond EOL.
Yes, we are using the Catalyst 9500 as the core for VMware virtualization environment where we put all the ESXi hosts directly to the Catalyst switches.
The extent of manageability is setting up the switches for SNMP and have them managed by Cisco PRIME
For monitoring stand point, the Meraki swtiches were better.
