Our county has been using Cisco catalyst switches for over 2 decades and have found them to be reliable and consistent.
One of the ways we ensure a reliable Network is to segment off areas, floors or departments by virtual lans. We also use vlans to segment our VoIP traffic.
No we did not engage Cisco Services when planning or deploying our solution.
