Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Catalyst Switches
- Catalyst 9300 Series
We use the Cisco Catalyst 9300 Series Switches in our business as access-layer switches and for some of our smaller offices as core switches. The Cisco Catalyst 9300 Series Switches are a great solution. We also have Cisco DNAC, which we use to manage these switches, though we also manage some of these individually. We like stacking the 9300s for reliability.

- Too new, potential issues
- Potential bugs due to how new they are
- Improved ease of management
- Improved performance in our switching environment
- Easily managed through DNA Center
We are currently in the process of bringing all of our Cisco Catalyst 9000 Series Switches, including 9200s, 9300s, and 9500s into DNA Center. Being able to manage all of these switches from one platform will be a huge time saver since we won't have to log into every individual switch to troubleshoot.
I've used many different platforms of Cisco switches, routers, firewalls, VMs, and more. The Cisco Catalyst 9300 Series Switches are great switches to upgrade to from almost any environment. These switches are pretty stable with frequent new stable software releases. These switches are easy to configure and use different techniques to keep the processing to a minimum so they can handle loads of traffic reliably.
