Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Catalyst Switches

Cisco Catalyst Switches are being used throughout all of our data centers globally. From 100 megabit all the way to 40 Gigabit these switches are workhorses that move all of our data traffic within and across data centers. These switches are capable of providing incredibly reliable and fast connectivity while offering great performance.
  • Great performance. Incredibly fast and reliable.
  • Automation. Template based, programmable pipeline.
  • Scalable and highly redundant.
  • Better cloud integration
  • More automation features
  • Better compatibility with ACI
  • Cisco catalyst switches have allowed our networks to run smoothly with no interruptions.
  • These switches are scalable so we were able to add more switches as needed, without interrupting the network activity.
  • Automation techniques allowed us to deploy configuration with minimum effort.
Our organization utilized advanced manageability and customization by taking advantage of built-in ASIC templates to enable universal deployments and configure the switches for specific features.
We've used/evaluated Juniper EX series switches that stack up against Cisco Catalyst. However, Juniper did not offer as many features, especially around cloud compatibility and customization.
