We use the catalyst switches everywhere! They keep us connected from the core to the edge. And configuring was fairly easy. We are upgrading pretty much all of our switches to Catalysts. With module connections at 10+ Gig we are set for years to come. Also with multigig we can connect our wireless and know that our endpoints are at the best connection!
Pros

Cons
- I know they are trying to be compact, but do they have to be so tight? Hard to get your fingers in once all the cables are wired up!
- LED lights could be positioned differently to make it easier to see them.
- Power cable management could use a little better design.
- I wish things didn't go end of life, but I understand the fast-paced, ever-evolving technology.
- Being able to easily deploy quickly is key
- Having support right there for issues makes like you made a good investment.

In-house talent, knowledge, and manpower, we had to use third-party resources to implement, which is not all bad as you can get resources that are very knowledgeable since they do it every day. Cisco has lot's of resources to help you get the most out of the product you invested in.
Cisco's hybrid work solutions like the AI they use to enhance audio and video for poor connections. Being in the middle of nowhere, Wyoming, and having poor connectivity between towns, the more AI that can help with that is key.
Having the secure connection that Cisco's endpoint security has makes peace of mind for our Security team.

Being able to use AnyConnect to hop on the VPN or hop on a Webex and share your screen is key for Hybrid work. Having an adhoc meeting or scheduling a meeting to collaborate on any project makes it easier to do business. And with Webex Calling any Employee that is not able to be in person can just use thier PC and answer the phone as if they are at their desk.
