The switches are used in an industrial network. They have the requirement to run stable and secure.They have to keep a critical service running, redundancy and availability are very important. The devices should also be able to be integrated into the existing infrastructure and, above all, be expandable.
- stable system, thei devices run very well and stable
- Firmware update are very simple, but slow
- easy handling and good for installation in cabinets
- firmware updates should be faster
- license design should be better, very unclear
- a lot of money could be saved through standardization
we do not have something like this in use yet, but there is the possibility of what could be a good fit for the future
better support and instructions, the devices have a better perfomance
