Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Desk Series
As a lot of video meetings are done internally and externally, it is required to have a good view, camera, microphone, and speakers. There was a need to create a place in an office environment for that to happen, as calling with laptops only, the situation was not great. So installing a few desk pro devices already made collaboration easier and more reliable, also this doubles as a monitor and hub if needed, so it can be used by the team as a personal hot seat desk. Also, no additional office space for people was required, so fewer expenses.
- Collaboration with whiteboarding
- Video calls
- Monitor/HUB
- Compatibility with Teams and Webex
- Ease of use
- Price could be better
- Ability to run Teams and Webex at the same time
- Wireless connection like WIDI or Unicast could be very useful
- better user experience for employees
- less expensive for meeting room space
- more professional meetings - more trust from customers
Tried HP monitor AiO, Polycom device, and Logitech devices. Tried AiO monitors, and the sound was not sufficient. Tried the camera, microphone, speakers, and dock and it was very messy with too many wires, and the configuration needed a desk. Pro has a big benefit in that can be used without an additional device, just as a stand alone meeting device.
