Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Headsets

Cisco Headsets are used in different ways based on the specific end user. We have end users who connect the headsets directly to their computer, others who connect directly to their phone, and several who use the multi base for connection to their desk phone, computer, and mobile phone simultaneously. Cisco Headsets are managed through the Cisco Control Hub.
  • Noise cancellation
  • Management of devices through Control Hub
  • Compatibility with a wide range of devices
  • A single on-ear option is needed in the portfolio
  • Options for mobile workers (agile for mobile smart phone users)
  • More competitive pricing
  • Call quality improvement
  • Devices for every user space, very flexible
  • Compatible with other existing investments
The Cisco Headsets are incredibly easy to manage since the devices dynamically register to the end user of the soft client or phone device and create a presence in the Cisco Control Hub. Cisco Headsets can then be managed and tracked by the user. Cisco provides a variety of connectivity options, making setup easy and flexible.
The devices provide easy to use controls for volume, mute, and answering of calls. The noise cancellation technology that is built into the devices allows for users in crowded offices or common spaces to maintain a high quality experience without the worry of background noise. This used in conjunction with Cisco's noise removal platform creates a high quality audio experience.
End users are able to take advantage of the personal settings and management tools through device apps and utilities. Users in our organization are given access to these tools to allow for customization of their experience. Additional management is available to administrators through the Cisco Control Hub or the CUCM interface.
In comparison to the other products evaluated, the overall administrative and end user experience of the Cisco Headsets is superior. Cisco Headsets are built for use not exclusively, but with intention, on being used in conjunction with Cisco desk phones or applications. I have found that the Jabra device provides a great option for ear clip requirements.
