Cisco IP Phone 8800 Series

Overall Satisfaction with Cisco IP Phone 8800 Series

I have implemented this phone model in several clients, all of them have been very satisfied with the functionalities that this good product offers.

Pros

  • High quality HD video
  • Great sound
  • Bluetooth

Cons

  • No wifi
  • No USB port
  • High cost compared with other models
  • Video across internet
It is a phone that has several more features compared to 7800 or 6900 series phones, but due to these features, it has a high cost compared to these devices.
By having video, clients are more productive because they do not need to travel to be in daily meetings. It is a device that has very good noise cancellation and can be in meetings on speakerphone without generating noise in calls or meetings.
I had to RMA this equipment due to some software failure and the response from Cisco was immediate and I had my replacement in a short time.

It is a product that unfortunately cannot be used for an entire company due to its high cost. It is preferable only to use it for high-level employees, such as executives or managers, who need to be communicated with video and excellent audio.
