Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Meraki MV

I use Cisco Meraki MV cameras to track and count people in retail locations. This has helped us better determine high traffic areas around our stores and we can better arrange our best selling products accordingly. Additionally, we have been able to improve our foot traffic by targeting campaigns during the hours that most customers enter into our locations since we can count the foot traffic now.

Being a small business and the only IT person deployment was simple in the fact that I was able to send a camera to a location and it was easily installed and added to my network. Being able to be hands off on the installation and for the fact that I can quickly add it to the portal is essential when you do not have a lot of time. It's been easy to manage and add more cameras as needed over time.
I have integrated Cisco Meraki MV with my MX security appliances. This was very easy to do since the MX was already deployed. Meraki has made it very easy to mesh the two together.
It's very easy to add cameras and manage them from one location. Having that central cloud management software has made the deployment and scalability invaluable to us.
The cost was slightly under the other, and as I already have MX appliances, I wanted to keep everything under the same management platform.

I really like the platform and do not have any major complaints or concerns with using it. It has met and exceeded my needs for the intended purpose of people counting and tracking in retail locations. The only thing that keeps me from giving a high rating is the licensing costs. As a small business, I am not able to fully deploy Cisco Meraki MV across all my cameras. To reduce costs, I have only opted for one camera per location in tangent with my self managed system.
