Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Meraki Wireless WAN

Being a construction company we have many temporary offices that only exist during the length of the job. Meraki makes it easy to deploy wireless and wired networks to our job trailers with out the need of sending a tech on site. This is a huge plus. The fact that they are cloud managed, and easy to deploy is great. We have had great success with these in the field.
  • Easy to deploy, templates for networks make it super easy apply the template you need for the site and send it.
  • Easy to integrate into Microsoft Windows Active Directory for authenticating users.
  • Cloud Managed so I can see the health of all my networks from one dashboard.
  • If you don't pay for maintenance they quit working. However, the value added with their maintenance makes it worth it.
  • Saves on travel costs.
  • Saves on total hours.
  • Great security.
  • Allows for tunneling back to home office.
We used SonicWALL for years. It was easy to misconfigure or miss a configuration. We had the Global Systems Management, but it didn't work as well as Meraki and was dependent on the VPN working first. So you really couldn't deploy a device without touching it.
If you want to deploy networking without the need of sending a tech to every site this is a great investment.
