Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Nexus Dashboard

Cisco Nexus Dashboard offers multiple services such as Cisco Nexus Dashboard Insight (NDI), Nexus Dashboard Orchestration (NDO), NDFC and Nexus Data Broker.

We are using Cisco Nexus Dashboard for orchestration (NDO service) and network assurance (NDI). With NDO we can manage/configure multiple data centers from single GUI and with NDI we can monitor multiple data centers from a single point.

As Cisco Nexus Dashboard offers multiple features within a single node, there is no other product we have seen in the market that comes close to Cisco Nexus Dashboard feature wise.
Cisco Nexus Dashboard Insight allows us to generate alerts based on anomalies it sees within our data centers. For example, we can all the L3outs configured in ACI environment and how prefixes are learning from the L3out and bounded interfaces. Any abnormal behavior for L3out will immediately be reported within dashboard take actions.
We have deployed hundreds of EPGs and port mappings from Cisco Nexus Dashboard Orchestrator to multiple DCs. Manually configuring this would have taken more than month of engineering hours. Now in Cisco Nexus Dashboard Orchestrator newer version we can provision ACI access policies also when comparing to earlier versions it only supported tenant related configurations.

Cisco Nexus Dashboard is well suited for data center networks running with Nexus switches, Cisco ACI, Cisco ACI with multiple data centers and hybrid cloud environments where workloads reside in on-prem and in cloud such as AWS, Azure and GCP. Whichever product existing licenses purchased with current technology will matter if thinking about Cisco Nexus Dashboard as currently all Cisco Essential, Advantage and premier license levels support different features.
