Overall Satisfaction with Cisco NX-OS

This product is used in the data center networking environment to support the vm, SX and other third party service.
  • These switches are our data center core and aggregation switches, which provides services to all the application and service.
  • Yes, correct. NXOS is an older version of Nexus. We are currently in the middle of upgrading to a CI, which is software defined ability.
  • It is more scalable platform, very easy to expand if you need it now, you can add on more switches in the fabric.

Because it's an older version of NXOS. That's why we planning to move away from this to the A CI software defined.

This is our data center core switches and it's suited for a big organization like us hosting 3000 plus VM and we are using NXOS in the core plus aggregation and remote campus areas.
