Cisco Spaces is used for asset tracking use case and it helps to solve the capital asset management problem.
Pros
- Pinpointing the location of the physical asset on a floor.
- Helps to keep track of the history of the asset location.
- Helps to manage it based on group or profile.
Cons
- Better GUI like the continuity from one section to another and back instead of going from the home screen.
- Just deployed the solution for a single use-case, will have to work on the ROI.
Detect & Locate is the app we are currently using to identify an asset on the floor.
Just started with one app recently, will have to work on the other apps shortly this year.
