Overall Satisfaction with Cisco UCS Series
mainly use UCS for our vmware farm and a few c series for dedicated linux/windows boxes for critical applications
- scale to accomodate workloads
- patch firmware
- integrate with technology
- Management UI
- a page for single pane of glass
- fault detection on hardware components
- TAC response can be very vague at times making me research it on my own and rolling the dice if it would wok
I used HP servers and the service profile model that UCS does is significantly better
Deployment of UCS servers save a lot of time thanks to Service profiles as we spend less time configuring hardware
we are satisfied as we have integrated UCS in our entire virtual infrastructiure
