Overall Satisfaction with Clay

We're currently using Clay in a variety of ways, mostly for enrichment. Some examples include filling empty fields that are needed to route leads correctly and listening for job changes/promotions to update database lead/contact titles to update their current fit score. Clay is allowing us to solve business problems at scale in ways that would otherwise require manual updates.

  • It's not super intuitive to grasp, and it was hard to know where to start
  • Offer pre-built templates for common business problems

I love Clay's functionality but it's not an intuitive platform to use when you first start. I'm super process oriented and I still had issues understanding order of operations and best practices for certain things. An in-app start guide or example workflow could be useful.

Clay is able to solve for a variety of use cases including lead enrichment, content creation, and more. With signals, we can keep track of job changes to update our lead records and improve accuracy. We use AI enrichment to populate missing data for our database to improve routing. We also have the ability to use AI to write custom outreach emails for BDRs. Honestly there are few scenarios that Clay can't solve for, and even then, there are lots of new product updates coming.
