Overall Satisfaction with Cloudera Enterprise

I used it in lab testing. It was a great experience and greatly reduced the configuration/management time.

Pros

  • Centralized configuration
  • Centralized management
  • Dashboard

Cons

  • More help on UI options
  • Definitely faster setup/management time. Could not comment on ROI, as tested in lab setup.
It was selected for lab testing and definitely have positive experience.
Being a student I just evaluated it in lab, so not sure when I would buy, but would be potential buyer in future.
I think it is the best tool to manage large environments.
