Overall Satisfaction with CodeSignal
I am a student, and I use it for online assessments. Some companies use this platform as first-round after the screening, for me, the problems are sometimes you can't even copy-paste the test cases from the same page and, I still see some problems with the fairness of the assessment as some students get comparatively easy questions, so time also gets a deciding factor.
Pros
- Autocompletion.
- The difficulty of the questions.
- The time window for taking the assessment.
Cons
- Assessment time window based on questions.
- Questions difficulty classification.
- Timed assessments.
- Proctoring/Security.
- Variety of questions.
- Didn't get a response from the companies even if you have scored level 9-10.
- Sharing the existing score saves time.
- Still, there are some security enhancements needed.
Not applicable as the companies chose CodeSignal for the coding assessments. I still do think it's better than the other 2 which I've mentioned.
