Overall Satisfaction with Cohesity

We use Cohesity as a back up for our data. It is used to protect our data in case of a disaster or a Cybersecurity incident.

Pros

  • Back up of data
  • Air gap
  • PACS data

Cons

  • Needs to improve for O365 data
  • Easier functions
  • It has provided us the ability to back up our data center
  • It's air gapped back up is nice
  • Id like to see more features
We selected Rubrik for two reasons. The first was an already existing relationship with the 3rd party VAR that recommended Cohesity. The second was the low cost of Cohesity to back up our data center in a short amount of time also. I am not sure they are the strongest product but they are of good value.

Yes

I would make this recommendation based on cost. It is a low cost solution. With every low cost solution, everything you need is not included. Cohesity suits our purposes for now. Their lack of O365 back up is not ideal and I think we will be looking for a more encompassing product.
