Overall Satisfaction with Concur Travel and Expense

Concur [Invoice] is used for our AP automation and expense report management. It's used across the entire company at every level. We wanted to automate the accounts payable process from receiving to payment and have a system for expense reimbursement.

  • [I belive there is] absolutely nothing [to share].
  • Concur [Invoice] is a nightmare in every aspect [from my experience].
  • There is zero reporting.
  • You have to click through multiple screens just to see an invoice.
  • You can't edit any invoice or expense details after approval.
  • The OCR is terrible and usually defaults to unable to read.
  • There aren't notifications for when an inbound invoice is rejected.
  • Difficult to add users.
  • You have to manually sync it with Quickbooks Online.
  • It takes roughly 10 minutes to just add a vendor into the system.
  • You can't navigate to a payment directly from the invoice.
  • Extremely negative ROI.
  • Limited reporting makes visibility nearly impossible into what we've spent.
  • Difficult to properly audit expenses and invoices.

There is absolutely no situation where Concur Invoice is the solution [from my experience]. [In my opinion] it has been a nightmare to use since my first day here and I've actively been looking for a replacement since then. Luckily, Concur Invoice not being able to process ACH payments starting in November 2021, served as a catalyst for my company to select a new AP platform.
