Overall Satisfaction with Concur Travel and Expense

Concur Travel and Expense is being used by our entire organization. Recently we started using TripActions for our travel as Concur Travel and Expense was terrible [in my opinion]. [I feel that] the tool is clunky and difficult to use and the help is not user-friendly. [In my experience,] you load up receipts and it does not recognize them. You have to enter everything manually if you don't use the expenses tool and even when you use the tool it doesn't always read everything. The app recently updated and I can't even use expenses anymore.
  • Provides details that help accountants to code to the correct GL when the employee does not code properly.
  • Auto alerts for errors outside policy.
  • Mobile app - update was a failure [from my point of view].
  • More user-friendly help options. There is no easy guide on how to use the tool so you have to be an expert to get anything done in the tool.
  • Wasted time of my employees to get reports completed.
  • Time delay on getting reports due to not being user friendly.
I prefer the other two tools over Concur Travel and Expense. I don't believe Concur Travel and Expense stacks up against the new tools that are coming out. In my mind, the Concur Travel and Expense tool is old and needs updating. They could make the tool more user-friendly. Like pop-up messages on how to do things. Or a user guide for beginners.

[I feel that] I have found nothing on Concur Travel and Expense to be innovative.
It does work fairly well to report details once the information is transferred to our ERP system. However, that is mostly based on the information entered by the employee rather than information from Concur Travel and Expense.

I would say that [Concur Travel and Expense] is suited for a company that has time to enter each detail and work within [what I feel is] an archaic tool.
