Overall Satisfaction with Conga CPQ

I use Conga CPQ for quote and contract management. I use it for commercial proposals for both domestic and international customers. It helps streamline configuration and approval processes. Our business requirements can be complex. Conga helps to simply the process, including template usage, which saves time. It also allows for easy reporting.

Pros

  • Simplifies the Quote process
  • Allows customization for organization needs
  • Stores information for easy access

Cons

  • Opens certain pages in a new page, this an be confusing to new users
  • maintains previous pricing in the extended price section while maintaining the list price section
  • An increase is positive customer response, as it decreased the response/delivery time extensively
  • We have a saying "Time kills deals", Conga has helped expedite the approval process. Having it available in the system, vs passing the document manually, has significantly helped.
Conga CPQ has saved us a significant amount of time.
Manually preparing quotes leaves room for error. Conga has does all the work, and accurately.

Conga CPQ works well with the approval process. It easily allows us to customize our requirements based on the function. For example the approvals for a quote are different when adding custom items, as well as the approval process for Contracts with firm fixed pricing. It has all the functions required to allow cross department needs. NOP for Finance purposes and Concession calculations for Contracts are a few examples.
