Overall Satisfaction with Conga Composer

We use Conga Collaborate to create proposals for our form. It helps the marketing team respond to RFPs and other proposals very quickly and efficiently, with transparency among team members. We store our standard industry and service proposal templates in the software and also generate new ones with it. We can regularly update our templates and add new ones when we have a new service or industry.
  • Storage of templates for proposals.
  • Electronic signatures.
  • Transparency of edits among team members.
  • The UX is not always easy to make edits.
  • Sometimes the system seems slow.
  • Our account rep isn't very responsive.
  • Helps us to be consistent in our brand across proposals.
  • Reduces rogue proposals going out.
  • Helps to track where proposals are in real time.
It's pretty simple to use but sometimes I have to go into the HTML code when I experience space or formatting errors which is annoying. Our team continues to grow and team members are able to learn the product quickly and scale up pretty fast. The UX could be improved, it looks a little dated.
It makes it simpler to see where a proposal is in process prior to sending it out. It helps to see where it's sitting and who has made recent changes, streamlining our efficiency. Overall has made it simpler and if we used more of the electronic tracking features with clients, it would probably be even simpler.

Do you think Conga Composer delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Conga Composer's feature set?

Yes

Did Conga Composer live up to sales and marketing promises?

No

Did implementation of Conga Composer go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Conga Composer again?

No

I think it's not as robust for drag and drop edits as competitors. Pricing is competitive, but we have little interaction with our rep, and support is limited unless you add a support plan. I like having all of our proposal templates stored in one place and having transparency among which team member has made edits.

Using Conga Composer

5 - Marketing, partners and business development. They work together to coordinate putting together custom proposals and engagement letters to send to prospects and current clients with expansion of work. There are more people who may see drafts of proposals but only these departments are involved in editing and document creation.
2 - Our marketing department was the primary department responsible for Conga Composer. They dealt with troubleshooting, regular updates and teaching our internal folks how to use the software.
  • Proposal Generation
  • Editing of proposals
  • Engagement Letter Generation
  • Seeing what prospects look at in engagement letters
  • Helps to gather analytics on proposals
  • Allows for easier proposal generation
  • Makes it easier to easily edit proposals
  • For Salesforce driven proposals
  • Salesforce analytics
Though I love how easily Conga Composer ties into Salesforce and its given analytics, it takes a lot of data entry to get up and running. I don't love that sometimes queries can take a long time to pull. I like keeping our marketing templates consistent via templates in the system. Pulling multiple objects into one report is fantastic too.
