Overall Satisfaction with Contractor Foreman

My business has been using Contractor Foreman for just over
2 years now and it has help us manage our business processes better. It has simplified how we manage our projects all
the way from estimating to invoicing. We now have a much clearer view of where
all of our projects are at. Would recommend this especially if you are trying
to manage all of your workflow using spreadsheets.

Cons

  • It can be quite manual at times
  • Lacks automation and linking into other systems
  • Recurring invoices would be good to have
  • It has simplified how we manage our projects
  • Sped up the send of estimates and invoices
  • Help us keep track of costs via change orders
  • No automation so can be manual (though no more manual than using spreadsheets)
We have quite a few people using it without any major issues.
We considered Houzz Pro but when we looked at all the features that Contractor Foreman offered along with its pricing we decided that Contractor Foreman was better value for money and a better fit for the business.

If you want to see all of your jobs and their statuses then CF is great. Estimates are easy to use and you can do an estimate in excel and upload via csv which helps us speed up the creation of it. If you need to have estimate and invoicing follow ups done automatically then this is an issue.
