Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Cornerstone OnDemand as our training documentation system of record for our entire organization, and as a part of our larger Quality System. We also use it to serve out continuing education programs to staff working for our hospital customers.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Love the flexibility in configuration.
Great audit trail.
Easy to administrate.

Cons

Some of the feature development feels isolated from other parts of the system.
In can take a while for client suggestions to make it onto the improvement roadmap.

Product Configurability

Just right.

Likelihood to Recommend

Great for compliance training as well as personal development training. Can be difficult for one Administrator to manage by themselves for a large organization. We have 2 full-time Admins and 2 part-time Admins for an organization of 5,000+ internal users and 500 external users. We've also created custom security roles to allow some administrative functions to be done by staff outside the Admin department to ease the administrative burden. Great that Cornerstone has that flexibility.
