Overall Satisfaction with Cube

We use Cube to assist in our monthly/quarterly FP&A processes, including monthly financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and annual planning. Cube allows us to centralize our data and use a single source to pull the underlying details from, streamlining the processes and allowing for quick identification of where issues lie or where discrepancies exist.
  • Provides flexibility with respect to how the reports / templates are organized
  • It is easy to create and adjust the dimension hierarchy for accounts
  • We can connect to multiple data sources
  • Data uploads from our source ERP timeout sometimes - due to number of transactions - which can be frustrating, and requires follow up with Cube to reset a setting that turns off automatically during timeouts
  • Certain features (like suppressing $0 on Fetch) do not exist - however, they are planning to implement those updates (at some point!)
  • Would be helpful to be able to schedule monthly uploads of new data from the source ERP system, instead of having to do it manually
  • Flexibility of reports you can generate
  • Ease of use
  • Fairly shallow learning curve
  • Positive - Simplified the forecasting process
  • Positive - Integrates multiple sources of data into a centralized pool
  • Negative - Lots of time spent with support to solve data discrepancies between source data and what Cube imports

Do you think Cube delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Cube's feature set?

Yes

Did Cube live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Cube go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Cube again?

Yes

Cube has been very helpful when creating new forecast scenarios, comparing the scenarios against each other, as well as comparing the forecasted scenarios to actuals. The system allows for flexible manipulation of the dimensions in a way that lets the user dictate the output. This has been quite useful for preparing templates/reports for various levels of seniority within the company (i.e., granular vs. high level).
